BareNaked/ Project Gift a Kid!

I was on the radio just now and heard that Jennifer Aniston is appearing nude on the cover of the January's issue of GQ magazine. Well, not really nude you see, she had on this red, white and black striped tie...so she's not "literally" without any piece of clothing.

Her reason for doing this? "I'm healthier," the 40 year-old actress was quoted as saying. "I'm more at peace in my mind and body."

Right, if only we were all this comfortable with our body. Then, all of us can shop in the nude at One Utama. *smirks*

Okay...the first part of the entry was part of my plan to get all you optimistic pollyanna's attention. Oh, please, STOP scrolling up to gawk at Jennifer Aniston's oh-so-toned body! Now, let's get down to the bigger purpose of this entry!

The Rotaract Club of Kuala Lumpur (RACKL) with the support from AllMalaysian Bloggers Project (AMBP) had come up with a campaign called "Project Gift a Kid!"

In the spirit of Christmas, they are trying their very best to raise funds to buy back-to-school materials (stationeries, books, uniforms, etc) for 100 underprivileged kids (ages 6-15).

Children who will benefit from the aforementioned campaign are from Rumah WAKE 1 and Sekolah Kebangsaan (Tamil) Cheras.

So, what can you do to help, I hear you optimistic pollyanna ask?

For starters, those of you who have a blog (don't pretend that you don't) can blog about this beautiful effort on your blog, like what that I am doing right now! Get the word out across the Malaysian blogosphere and beyond.

Tell it to your mom, dad, uncles, aunties, cousins, neighbours, Form 5 best friend, your goldfish (okay I'm just kidding about the goldfish). Tell it to the whole ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!! But seriously, just pass the word on will you?

By blogging about this campaign now. I am actually sending a kid to the movies. Yay!!! The awesome and totally cool dudes at Universal International Pictures have agreed to sponsor movie tickets. And the good folks at AMBP will sponsor one kid for each blog entry written by AMBP bloggers. Yay!!!
