Finally

Warner Music Malaysia has finally developed the sense to release 'Elephants...Teeth Sinking Into Heart' as an import right here in Malaysia. It might be 8 months late...but better late than never I suppose.


I saw the CD at Rock Corner while shopping at The Curve just now and it was displayed on the featured music section. There I was at the store beaming like a proud parent...it was only after 5 minutes that I realized the staff was giving me a weird stare.

It was a bittersweet feeling loh seeing the CD being displayed prominently. Happy because Rachael Yamagata has finally emerge from oblivion to the mass Malaysian public. Sad because it is sold at a freaking marked down price compared to what I paid for last December at Bangsar Village! (Refer to the post 'Time Has Come Today') I swear I will throw my copy of 'Eclipse' to the person who come to me and say "If you're patient, I will surprise".

To all you optimistic people whom I have manage to convert to Yamagataism, there are very limited copies of the CD at the store. Of course being the good friend that I am, I quickly text Julian and Eileen (we Yamagataist have to stick together!) and tell them about the CD.

However, if you people feel like beating them up to it, here is the number of The Curve's Rock Corner: 03-7729631. You can call them up and booked for a copy in advance. So good luck to all you Yamagataist and do hurry up because the album will only be available as an import for a limited time considering the fact that it is not a very commercial album.

P.S: Nigel said that Warner Bros only imported a certain amount of the album and that they probably won't order anymore after the batch of copies sells out at record stores. So go get it you optimistic pollyanna!
