I'm very pleased with myself today. Oh yes I am!!! I managed to get so many things done in 24 hours teeheetee! I'm just gonna list it up to all you optimistic pollyanna because apparently I have list fetish at the moment. OhshitwhydoIhavelistfetish??!!!!
1. Went for a morning jog
I miraculously woke up early on a weekend and I got my long-deprived morning jog!!! Wooohooooo. This is going to sound VERY lame but as I was jogging back, Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb' came into play and the lyrics is just so inspirational and uplifting what with all the negativity that had been surrounding me for the past few days.
"There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb"
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb"
Gosh what the hell, damn lame ah!
2. Caught up with Micht during breakfast
I saw my Micht while having breakfast with my parents and I haven't seen her in godknowshowlong and she's getting prettier everytime I see her like wth I'm sounding like a father now. Somebody slap me please.
3. Got a new sexy haircut
Oh yes I finally did something about my overgrown hair. I asked for a Justin Timberlake-ish short hair style from the barber but he don't know who Justin Timberlake is .
So I spent like 5 minutes telling him, "He was the guy who brought sexy back! I'm sure you do know him yes?"
But he just gave me an Are-You-Cognitively-Challenged? look. I almost want to sing out "If I wrote you a symphony just to say..." but instead I just resigned and said "Cut it short".
4. Studied Organic Chemistry!!!
Wahahahaha I really sat down and covered organic chem! Someone please give me a pat on the back! Haha I can now differentiate between alipathic compounds, alicyclic compounds and aromatic compounds!
Alipathic compound does not have the stability of a benzene ring whereas alicyclic compounds have closed rings of carbon atoms and apparently aromatic compunds are not that aromatic...like duh.
4. Finally sent that e-mail!
Aha, I finally sent that long overdue email to May Zhee requesting for her photos to accompany the feature interview that I'm doing on her for the magazine.
5. Learned drums from my brother
Oh oh I can play the drums to Rachael Yamagata's 'Over and Over'!!! So cool and I can even do a half-decent Sheryl Crows' 'First Cut is the Deepest'.
Eh Chester why you so cocky ah? So you can play a decent beat to ONE song, what is the big deal? Other people out there can actually play to all Led Zeppelin's songs and yet you are making a racquet about one song!
But but, I managed to get it right after 60++ mistakes and I did it all in 30 minutes. That ought to count for something right? *look with pleading eyes*
Still it is not a big accomplishment! One more thing, other people have 5 years editorial experience and yet you are being bossy about being the editor!
No, I swear I did not boast around that I'm the editor...at least I don't remember going to anyone and say "Hey I'm the most awesome editor in the whole wide world...even better than Anna Wintour! *gasp* Bow before my greatness or suffer the consequences of my wrath!"
I do admit that I don't have 5 years editorial experience...but I have a stint at 'The Star' newspaper as a student writer and I've had several articles and stories published. That ought to count for something yes?
Who gives a shit about you being a student writer? The fact remains that you don't have 5 years editorial experience!
Why are you being so mean to me? (cue for some sad music from the Titanic movie)
I'm so tired...
Sometimes I wonder why on earth do I need to defend myself about something that is so ridiculously untrue. I shouldn't be so defensive when the subject of offense is so trivial if you compare it to BIGGER issues such as poverty and famine.
So I'm taking the high road and I'm going to just forgive and forget and what the hell this is damn random but I'm missing Penang like crazy.
Honestly, I am very tired. I'm so so SO tired and sleepy and gawd why is that pillow so soft?

UPDATES!
Here is the deal...there is no more deal about the so-called 'Chester vs. Anonymous Lower 6 Junior' "controversy". Omg wth I'm making it sound like Xia Xue vs. Dawn Yang/ May Zhee vs. KateKira controversy! Hmmm...was Kenny Sia embroidered in any online controversies?
Anyway, she came up to me the other day and personally apologized for misjudging me and all that. And of course I said that it is okay and its alright. Would have been a perfect school saga drama if David Archuleta was playing on the background or something.
Yes, randomization I know but I'm re-addicted to the song 'Touch My Hand' because apparently it is now being played on the local airwaves (Refer to the post 'Buzzworthy #2: Taylor Swift vs. David Archuleta'). Oh the power of mainstream commercialism...
Anyway back to the matter, she came up to me and apologized and that TOTALLY changed my initial perceived perception about her. The fact that she owned up to her mistake and even had the courage to see me face-to-face speaks volumes about her.
And oh I was told that she deleted the post that accused me of being cocky, so I guess I'll do my part and delete off part of my previous post. So yeaahhh pretty awkward but I just wish her the best.
To all of you who had written that comment rooting for me, I thank you very much. Looking back, there were sure a bunch of vocal and I mean really VOCAL comments about her. Hahahaha, gosh you guys are really loyal readers huh? And to think that I wrote THESE words!
Oh well in her defense, she speaks perfectly fluent English and Brendan I'm sure she knows what LV means.
One more thing, I saw the finale performance of American Idol, and deep down I surreptitiously wish that Kris Allen will be crowned as the next Idol although obviously Adam Lambert is the more deserving one.
Hahaha, see I so smart appearing ambiguous in my choice of favourites...so that means all you Krisallenation and Adamfan won't be prompted to throw eggs at me.
But seriously, I don't care who wins because I never buy any of the AI alumni' albums anyway, except for Kelly Clarkson's 'Breakaway' maybe where I was given a free copy to do a review on.
Oh shyte I better run before I give you people reasons to throw eggs at me.
P.S: Look out for the next post, I have an amazing post to share with you guys. Until then...
